In a wonderful position, overlooking ‘the prettiest square in the east of England’, serving all the essential cafe drinks and fare.

A well preserved example of a WWII control tower and some of the outlying buildings. Details that did not survive the passage of time have been restored, such as the glass observation room on the tower roof, have been authentically recreated. The tower is also adjacent to a functioning airfield which sees frequent use, often by era appropriate aircraft.

Be sure to see the exhibit items donated by original servicemen and women of the base, many from America, displayed with details of their service history.
