Moyse’s Hall, Bury St Edmunds
Built in 1180 it has been used as a tavern and a ‘gaol’.
Today Moyse’s Hall is a superb museum providing an excellent setting in which to trace the story of West Suffolk, through displays ranging from prehistoric times right through to the present.
Moyse’s Hall’s own story is as rich and varied as the collections which it houses. Well worth a visit.
