Suffolk Day is the annual celebration of our wonderful county. There are some great events being held across Suffolk, but here’s a quick guide to what’s on around Bury St Edmunds:
Suffolk & Bury St Edmunds ‘A Perfect Fit’ Walk
Explore the relationship between Suffolk and Bury St Edmunds on this special walk hosted by the Bury St Edmunds Tour Guides.
The walk will take place on Saturday 22nd June at 11am and 2pm and Sunday 23rd June at 2pm, starting from St Edmundsbury Cathedral. Tickets are £6 for adults and under 16’s are free. Book here www.burystedmundstourguides.org.
Kentwell Hall: Meet the owners
Join Judith & Patrick Phillips at Kentwell Hall to view the house and gardens and Q & A with afternoon tea.

Skate across Suffolk by completing 1,377 laps at CurveMotion on Saturday 22 June. Raising money for My Wish Charity register a team of 2-5 people and skate the roller rink whizzing past projected images of the Suffolk landscape.

Higham open gardens and tea
With seven village gardens open on 23rd June from 2pm-5pm and tea at Old Parsonage House (from 3pm) accompanied by the local cellist Yalda Davis. Tickets are £5, with under 12’s free and all in aid of the Gilbert Scott designed St Stephen’s Church
Visit a Little Hall House, Lavenham
Visit an ancient timber framed house and learn all about its history and the history of Lavenham.
Little Hall House and garden will be open for visitors on 21st June, 22nd June and 23rd June.
House and garden open 1.00 to 4.00 pm Tuesday to Sunday.
Traditional Afternoon Tea at the Farmers Club
Traditional afternoon tea on Friday 21st June and Saturday 22nd June with free flowing tea and coffee and half price Prosecco all day!
